Hello, I'm hoping to gather some information and help regarding events that are taking place next year. My name is John and along with 2 friends we have uniforms of Panzer Grenadiers. We are interested in Private battles and we are new to airsoft. We are from the Northwest (Lancashire) of the UK and ravelling isn't a problem although the nearer the better obviously.
Help is also needed in purchasing K98's? as everywhere seems to be sold out at the moment, MP40's are another option but we'd like to get our hands on the rifles if possible. Any help on either of these would be grateful.
many thanks fellas
John

Hi John, welcome to the forum.
All the 2012 so far announced can be seen on the top section of the forum (WW2 Airsoft Events).
There are some K98s up for sale in the For Sale section too.

Thank you, yes i've seen the events section and interested in a few of those. Do you know where the Arnhem battle is being held? Couldn't seem to find that info unless I'm being totally thick! ha ha
Busy looking in the for sale section too - those K98's are dam hard to come across aren't they? :(
Thank you for the help

Hi, are you referring to Sevastopol? Details here:

Sorry, was not that clear, so I've clarified the thread. :good:

There are two German spaces left, one of which is for sale from another player, Toska. Any questions specific to this event, please post in the relevant section.

Thanks
Andy

Willkommen
Get stuck in as German :good: Rifles top stuff we need more of them on the field. As Steiner said Sevastapol in Feb will be great and with the 200 rd per life limit Rifles come into their own just keep your head down a couple of bursts and those SMG`s are out of ammo :happyswing:

I think at the moment German places are shown as 30 but I am sure they will squeeze a few more in as German as we need more troops being on the offensive

Great, you will be most welcome. Places booked by payment. viewtopic.php?f=207&t=13996

As mentioned, there is one place available as above, and the other is available by PM-ing Toska.

Sevastopol would have been good but coming a bit too early after xmas plus it's my wifes 40th and sisters 60th in Feb it's a bit of a busy one. Was looking more at Arnhem and a few others really, and it just gives us more time to get our hands on the K98's. We have all the field equipment and uniforms representing Panzer Grenadiers so it's just a matter of getting the rifles.
My two other friends are also keen to get involved in airsoft battles so I'll get them to join the forum also.

Cheers
John :good:

For available Kar98's I assume you are looking for the Tanaka models as these are the only "skirmishable" ones to my knowledge. A quick query on a small tool of mine ( http://airsoftsearch-dk.appspot.com/ ) shows it being available in:
http://www.safarasoftair.com/index.php? ... 85f69f1578
http://www.crw-airsoft.com/tanaka-kar98 ... 4769-p.asp
http://www.dentrinityshop.com/den_searc ... g=1&rpp=10
http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/a ... ode=simple

I can't remember which version is the one to get so you should research that yourself.
