You don't need to be registered to anything to play - UKARA and similar schemes only relate to purchasing an airsoft gun, not playing (with loaned or rented guns).

Are people afraid to put down where they are from. Keep asking the same old question "Where are you from?" frustrating especially when they are selling Could collect what does that mean when they are from some where in a trench

Well, there isn't any "joining" required, in case you misunderstood HK's post. If people pay to book themselves into an event, then they are welcome. We do expect a reasonable level of kit, appropriate to the scenario of each event, but as already stated, people are very generous in lending both kit and guns for free - on a bend it, mend it basis.
Since you are new to WWII airsoft, I would draw your attention to the following post:
