Put your next axis one on the back burner til you've got an allied set.

Makes loads more sense.

Not really. I have all the belt order and guns i'll need for another Axis loadout. An Allied one will require a mugh higher level of investment in new kit and guns.

When we were an Empire it was run by an Empress
Now we're a country we're run by a..........

It's a shame, but it's mainly due to two things; a) the lack of cheap brit uniforms, and b: having to use a so-so gun, as far as accuracy goes. The cyma thompson's good enough to get by with, but most brit troops had an Enfield, and they ain't cheap.

ok, most Germans had a K98 over an MP40 in real life, but the combination of cheap gun AND cheap kit makes it more attractive.

As soon as one of the HK suppliers starts knocking out decent brit battledress, we'll be laughing.

Well panzerfasut 1943 on ebay are doing brit windproof camo suits for £75 which is not only a bargain but cool as you get all over camo kit.

But as Evo says i think its lack of a good cheap Sten or lee enfield.

Surely a Sten can't take any building??????? Big tube, Little tube, sticky out bit.... Top off a crutch.....
Hide a gearbox or whatever and a hop up unit...... Use long Thompson mags....... Got to be worth a go and pretty cheap - If I understood these AEG thingy's I'd be on to it...... (give me a week or so)

problem is unless you do mkv is geting space for battery and motor becasue of the largley tubular construction.

Most aegs have the motor in the pistol grip (from memeory m14s and mp40s dont but the mp40 assembly is too large for a sten frame) and the battery in the stock or the front hand grip/heatshield/barrel shroud.

With a sten mkii for example you've got precious little space to work from.

You could potentially put a stick battery in the sotck if you made it slightly oversized.

If it were that easy i'm sure some bright spark would have done it by now, one chap on here made a resin sten but apprently they cant get it to feed form the mag properly.

Must admit the bog-standard line infantry loadout does appeal somewhat. Be nice to do something "simple" for a change

Jay - your idea's start simple, but by the time you're done with them their more complex than a PhD in Nuclear Physics.

Get ye to the pub mate - you don't need more kit, and you definitely don't need more damned guns!

Don't bother with a new load out, or new guns, you don't need them.

Just learn to shoot the ones you have......

See if you can hit that barn without being in it.....

The "go to the pub" option is going to be removed. 5 times during the working week is enough anyway ;)

Yes it is a de-ac conversion but it proves it is possible within the RS dimensions.

The forum is part of http://www.ww2airsoft.com which is kinda the US equivilent of CIA. They have some useful info on there so its well worth signing up. Actually Im quite supprised you arent already on there!
