went to 40's weekend at bushey today, met yith, picked up a cooper A2 flying jacket, lucky dice 506th breast pocket patch and 101st bullion patch to put on it. pretty good day out, I had no idea this event was on until I was taken there!

pretty good day out, plenty of people enjoying themselves, my highlight was seeing peoples kids playing with toys in the 40's house displays- bagatelle is old school playstation!
I live just 15 milesfrom bushy and this was a well kept secret to me until now.
I learned a great deal from some german reinactors with whom I must have spent an hour with going through personal equiptment with. seimens razor blade sharpeners and pump dynamo torches were a revelation to me! taxed playing cards, chess sets and board games - I thought the americans had all the best kit! german efficiency and quality engineering in all your gear (apart from shit webbing!)
I loved the massive zeltbahn tent/cities you lot can put together, awesome stuff.
(entrance was only £2.50 with wwii gear on)
I am sad that I was too late to buy a spam fritter from the naafi, I havent had to eat one of those since primary school and wanted to remind myself just how foul they are!

A couple of items from a trader at Licolnsfields:

- Feb 1944 Indian made OR's Khaki Aertex bush shirt.
- 1943 dated Khaki Drill shorts

I've seen plenty of these before, but never in my size...

Happy! :)

in the post: P38 softshell holster
Just ordered: CO2 ready, Mad Bull XM204HP Grenade Shell. Even if it's utterly useless for it's indirect purpose, i'm still going to have fun playing with it! 8)

Heh, same problem I had with my Madbull Co2 powered 'nades. So I replaced the seals with some UHP seals I blagged off one of our suppliers at work. Damned if i know what they're made of, but they take 800 PSI quite happily

Whilst we're on the subject, it's a great shame that MBA stopped production of the 108 rnd CO2 'nades, range is *far* better than the 204's.

Anyway, my latest acquisitions:

more custom blended paint, and some cuff titles from Nic Morigi.

cheers for the info, i was wondering whether there's a big trade-off between capacity and range, but i read a few reviews and the 204 seemed to have quite a good range compared to the smaller capacities i could find in stock. it's all hypothetical at the moment anyway, and it'll be trial and error!

I've already tried doing what your doing. It *does* work, but the choice of grenade is vital. I found the 108 to be best, but as ive said, its now out of production....
