Amazing how the ladies like a uniform aint it...
"I think we are in rats' alley - Where the dead men lost their bones."
I hope you were behaving yourself, young man!
You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier
Its a burlesque night, hard to behave really.. plenty of young ladies in vintage clothes/lingerie, strippers and arock and roll band...
Made me happy.
"I think we are in rats' alley - Where the dead men lost their bones."
Isn't that bra 1948 pattern, and the red highlights should cover the right ear surely!
Seriously though, where was the do because Anne wants to go to one now.
In that case I'm coming too.
BTW, I like the way Gadge's 'lady-friend' is pushing his beer belly in for the photo.
It was at a club called 'the social ' in notts. They do one every month or so.
Its getting quite big really this burleque revival.
"I think we are in rats' alley - Where the dead men lost their bones."
Beleive it or not i have a small umbrella in my BD blouse as it was pissing it down on the way in.
I was going to put it in my map pocket (its small enough an umbrella) but it looks *obscene* form the side or distance...

I love the way we get invited to crappy airsoft dos/ military shows , when you're mixing it with Dita Von Teese we don't get a mention
If you're a hit in yer scaggy old battledress, I reckon me & Chomley would cut are far better edge with our nicer uniforms eh !
Ah right, so she was feeling your umbrella.
....when you're mixing it with Dita Von Teese we don't get a mention

I hear Dita is single again..
Anyway, Gadge, it sounds (and looks) like great fun. Wish I we had something simular here so I could attend in my Class A uniform.

What no Berlin Kaberet ? Tscchhh
Do we all have to bring our "umbrellas"?
This whole business reminds me of a certain 1940's song...
~There's a burlesque theater where the gang loves to go,
to see Queenie the cutie from the burlesque show.
And the thrill of the evening is when out Queenie skips,
and the band plays the polka while she strips
"Take it off! Take it off!" someone shouts from the rear.
"Take it off! Take it off!" soon it's all you can hear.
But she's always a lady even in panthomime,
so she stops....and always just in time....~
