Here is my generic 37mm AT gun. I finally received parts for the split trail carriage and assembled it. Gun shield and few tidbits are still missing. It shoots marking projectiles using compressed air.
Looks good, all metal?
Yep. Even metal shell casings. Only the gun shield will be from plywood.
Yesterday i picked up a nice 45 dated MkIV turtle helmet - already have the correct Mk2 chinstrap on order and debating on replacing the liner with a repo Mk2 from SoF, helemt net and scrim already on order
Cheers

Hi all
I've been a bit quiet for a time but I've been putting some new working props together.
When I say props I mean

A new pair of ammo boots to replace my old ones which fell to bits. They are SOF ones and seem to be much better quality than the old ones. Time for dubbin and breaking in.

Got a new M43 tunic, braces and ATF plane tree 1-2 overprint M40 smock for my SS kit and now onto my Brit para kit which will hopefully be ready for next year when hopefully with a little luck things return to a bit of normality. Getting bored of playing dress up in the fields

My new Battledress arrived last week, made by WPG Central Europe. They have taken over the old Panther Stores patterns, cloth etc.
A thing of beauty, and surprisingly light, not heavy and scratchy like the SOF ones. Sadly Brexit has temporarily scuppered the supply chain but they will be taking new orders in January once the new customs regime is known. Expect a three to four month wait for manufacture (I order mine back at the end of June)
