Where did you get the bed and have they got any more? I am looking for one like that, doesn't need to be period / dated but just not a civvy copy because they tend to break.

Must be like buses. Last time I looked on ebay there were none.
I'm just flying back from Sweden (using the free airplane WiFi!) after visiting my sister in Umea for a week. Managed to pick up a 50s/60s Swedish cable drum backpack for £10 (the leatherstraps look very similar style to wartime Hungarian Y-straps), along with a large handful of leather canteen straps and some East German bits for my Cold War airsofting. Also found in a charity/second-hand shop out there two pairs of Commonwealth Made (Jardine, Matheson & Co - British HK) first pattern (same as KD pattern two buckled, rather than the later single buckle waist) jungle green trousers for £20 for both!

Any dating on the Jungle Greens. Logic says they should be post war but I am interested in when they are from.
Been a long time, but since I'm not going anywhere for a while, decided to get something to keep me occupied:
*Gasp!* Are those Holi (Holy!) weapons of war I see?
Have fun with the Trumpeter kit! They're pretty good when it comes to detail.

Not that I can see. The label on the back looks very much like an outfitters label is style, but has all the size information a normal label would have on it and is located on the rear outside waist in the usual place. 'Vegetable ivory' buttons on the fly, feild dressing pocket and map pocket, with stamped steel buckles. One pair looks unissued and is 38" waiste, the other looks used/faded & is a 34" waiste, but show no signs of any noticiable wear & tear either.

That's why I chose Trumpeter kits. I've opened the boxes and am quite impressed. Let's hope my painting skills will do them justice.
Beginnings of a tabletop gaming set....perhaps....I should still have a toolbox full of old Esci armies somewhere
Tigers generally like a dark brown inkwash and a heavy drybrush of 'dust', saves even the most lousy paintjob (like mine) Brings out the angles and the engine grills very nicely.
