Feld Fu b, a beautiful repro from Norway. Totally destroyed my airsoft AND WW2 budget for the year, so no more goodies for me until December...
From Derby Cattlemarket Carboot today:
A Brit' Mk2 helmet shell, still with it's chinstrap but minus its liner (originals never fit me anyway!) and needing a full refurb. I paid a bit more than I would have usually, but I felt generous and it is a '39 dated shell. - £10
Another set of WW2 Brit' boot polish brushes, 1943 dated, along with a load of other boot polish and brushes and cloths - £2 for the box.
Yet another war dated (1940) Service Bible for my accidental service bible collection, with loving inscriptions in the front and back to a guy leaving to join the RAF. - £Given it for free!
Not WW2:
A pair of 34"-36" 68 pattern combat trousers, plain olive green early type (rounded-end belt loop straps, single map pocket not cargo pockets). - £2
A Proud Member Of 'Team Spleen!' who play mainly at Gunman Airsoft, Tuddenham, Suffolk.

Very very nice. Not something I could even reproduce a tiny bit with my 'wooden' versions. But it has its price...
Is it already 'PMR' prepared?
The original ports on the left face of the pack are wired to a grid in the back, which you can then just connect to a regular PMR (supposedly). Still in the pipeline for my one though, need to drop it off at an engineer buddy to make up for my utter lack of electrical/electronic knowledge. Also not sure how the metal of the case will affect the range and power usage of the PMR...
I have found that many guys use a 1950's Russian R105D radio case to replicate the Feld Fu b, as it looks very similar. Needs minor cosmetic and webbing changes, but at 10m the difference is hardly visible.
Hey fellas.
Tell me what do you think about my new USMC gear. I've buy 3 days ago on SOF, but i've started just today to wheavering.
Please be honest, and tell me what do you think of my work. In the picture are Before/After ...
The left sock definitely needs a hole in.

When using Puxing 777's inside our BC1000's, the range is still 'ok' for our airsoft games. Haven't tested the 'real' range yet.
I've been told that the original antenna's of the BC1000's could be wired to a PMR and thus giving a range boost. Don't know if the self-made antenna on the Feld Fu B's could actually be used.
The left sock definitely needs a hole in.
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
This:
It's fantastic!
Two BD jackets, a bunch of random Pattern 37, and a Pattern 44 bayonet frog that matches my new No.5 bayonet perfectly!
This:
It's fantastic!
It is. Is it a british tent?

It is indeed. "Palacial" is the word which best describes it, after suffering the discomfort of pup tents!
When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!

you have slept in it before.
After a slight mix-up with an order from Trident Military I now have Soviet M35, M40 and subdued collar insignia, three pairs of rifle troops collar insignia and medals for the defence of Leningrad and defence of Moscow. Shame I've only got the one M35 jacket!
The collar tabs and medals do look very smart though.
Cheers
