Aus Cam isnt the same as Marine Cam, especially as they wore the green camo side more around the time the chindits were about (early war)

Kieth off of Ebay does P42 camos, and the other bits is OD infantry webbing! :)

Attached are pics of the M41/M45 field pack with T-handled shovel and camo poncho/tent half wrapped around the top.

And me wearing my stuff

Crew based sounds cool josh but i#'d much prefer players than crew

i think we need 15 per side to make a playable day.

I have most of the US kit already so USMC would be no problem for me.

Yeah Gadge and I were talking about a straight up fight... perhaps on the beleagered Brits who've been fighting the japs tooth and nail for years, and the US marines have sailed in to re-enforce them.

Or the other way around...

Inexperienced Yanks who have been ambushed by Japs as they bumbled through the jungle smelling of chocolate and burgers... Who are then saved by the Jungle-savvy Brits who've been at it for ages and know how to move sneakily...

;)

Heh, there'll probably be chance to do it both ways around... ;)

you can get game safe live roleplay katanas made of painted foam around a rod core.

That could be quite good fun. I've been doing Kendo for the last 10 years!

Lol. Sort of. Most "fights" only last a few seconds in reality. A good "cut" is usually enough. If there were really strict ammo limits and enough "safe" hand to hand wepaons, there could be a great banzai charge, followed by a hand to hand with the beleagured allies. I'd sign up for that!

More traditional for the Yanks to quite literally steam in and make an entrance ;)

...straight into the ambush cos they smelt of chocolate and burgers... Meanwhile the sneaky Brits have been waiting in the sidelines... ;)

Just as I said... lol

Well, seeing as most wars end up with the Yanks shooting the Brits, just cut out the middleman (Japs) and fight each other!
