IOW game?

I know its a bit south for some of you but, we have just opened a woodland site on the Isle of Wight and are hoping to do a weekender this summer ( avoiding everything else going on) and you would all be very welcome down on the sunny Isle. Could bring family and make a break of it don` t get into trouble with the misses then.

Hi all ,
We are batting around some great ideas at the moment a re-enactment with a what if approach to it for instance,
What if ? Hitler had decided to land a force in the island as a bridging point for the invasion of Britain .
What if ? Hitler had sent paratroopers to the island to destroy the radar installations .
What if ? Hitler had decided to destroy the Pluto pipe line in an attempt to delay the allied thrust through Europe .
We also have some good ideas for a night game with our woods subtly lit and motion detectors at random or around our fenced compound area .As Welsh has said we can arrange hotels etc for family's or camping on site to get them really involved, with fantastic beaches and attractions not too far away for them wile we play.It being an island invasion I feel it will lend its self well to civilian intervention (period dressed of course) and will give others a chance to play without the added expense of another load out .
These are just thoughts at the moment but once we have laid down the basics we can start planning with the hope that we can throw one hell of a weekend for you all .
We are not looking for personal profits from doing this but we do pay for the use of our land which comes at a premium here ,extra toilets and the usual site running costs will have to be covered. we also hope to feed you all and at the end it would be nice if we had a little left to spend improving our site ,we cant be more honest than that .

at least the winters are warmer if you don't venture that far into eastern europe

GUTTED!! I love the IOW! used to fly there for weekends when I was younger, will be away working in Marrakesh, would have loved that 1!!
