Hi, just seen this on Ebay in case they actually turn out to be OK quality as a very cheap option for Brits

I have one of these..

They're ok, but have no liner and will need foam padding.

They were made for the last world cup.

Sgt Heide's will be nicer. ;)

Fibreglass ones would be better as I am concerned on the strength of the plastic but the picture showed a thick self coloured plastic that might be OK.

I previosly got some different type ones for the kids, they were vacuum formed with a black elastic strap and are really not worth having, but the strap on the Ebay ones looked much better?

They are not going to be as good as a lovingly created Heide helmet, as they look like the real thing once finished, but might be good as loan or real starter items (as scaley suggested)?

They are thick plastic.. Mine has been a spare for ages (since the first CiA game in fact) and has never been used.

Interesting. Thorpe Bay's just down the road from me.

However, I already have one of Heide's "airing" in my garage.
