Clean up AG - chaps with non-completed registrations have now been purged (used fictitious/dead/incorrect email addresses). Others whose registrations weren't completed because of AOL/Hotmail issues have been manually completed.
So, list is now a true reflection of genuine members...
Incidentally, if any of you recommend friend to sign up could you ask them not to use 'free' email accounts like Hotmail plus AOL as those services block the qualifier email (the one you have to click a link on to prove that it really was you that registered). Pukka ISP email addresses are the best bet.

But I used Hotmail when I registered.
It didn't block it, but I found the email in my junk folder and added sender to safe list. No problems.
Indeed, have you thought instead to have the comedy tick this box if you're human option, I believe it works on other forums and means that members with aol/msn accounts aren't put off ........
Yes, I wasn't exactly clear - Hotmail and others dump registration emails into junk folders. If they aren't checked (I don't - I get 500 spam emails a day) then the process will never get completed. This isn't anything to do with us but how Hotmail etc define spam. (I didn't say AOL was free Helga so I am returning a small raspberry 
)
The unpurged list didn't contain any spammers - we already have an agressive policy of blocking spam bots and manual spammers that do creep through are removed on a daily basis and don't reach a posting stage.
Upshot is that the number you now see at the bottom of the page are genuine people interested in WW2 airsoft - keep spreading the word!
