Just musing really, but how's about we get together a list of sites and particular scenarios that would fit them well - complete with reasons, if possible! - real, or TV/Film based, it doesn't matter ![]()
Combat South Urban - Large fort. Well, it's gotta be "Where Eagle's Dare" (it HAS to be done at some stage
)
Phoenix Urban - take your pick. Antwerp, Stalingrad, Battle for Berlin.
Urban Assault - The suburbs of Berlin. With restricted ammo loadouts and gun rules, it'd make it a damn sight more enjoyable than the usual box-mag standoff that occurs there.

Now we're a country we're run by a..........
Stalingrad, though an attractive idea, might be a bit optimistic bearing in mind the number of people with Russian kits (although I'm just guessing here).
How about "The Eagle has Landed" for an urban setting.
Free Fire Zone:
Mixture of terrain - steep drops, open ground, open meadow, dirt roads, bunkers, woodland and a pond
. Plus its 70 acres and in summer the cover is nice and thick. It'd make a nice France in summer time.
Stalingrad is doable if it were a real winter game and the minimum kit was a brown or field grey overcoat and side cap
you could do that for

The allies were all Russian at Berlin as well... do'h!
Personally I'd like to do something in Norway though...

Those greatcoats are a bargain! I now vote for Stalingrad. Our trusty M14s can double as Mosin Nagants (versatile rifles those).
I own an EG one and the cuts more or less identical to a wartime one. Very comfy but thin compared to UK issue greatcoats.

I was sat in the car scoffing chips and looking out to sea at Portreath quite recently. At this time of year a lot of Cornwalls coastal villages are very quiet due to most of the houses being holiday homes for the Londonites. I reckon in the next ten years at least one coastal village down here will become totally deserted in the Winter months due to this fact. We could all turn up en masse and do a Commando raid, or Normandy beaches style event using the whole village, and nobody would be the wiser. ![]()
Yeah, down there they probably don't even know the war's over! If a few of us dressed as the Wehrmacht turned up, they'd think it was Sealion! ![]()
