Its amazing what a little make-up can do isn't it? It does look excellent though. Bring on more Rusky stuff!

That reminds me I still haven't posted a pick of my Rusky M35 kit up yet, only had it 2 months. :slap:

My Russian kit. Please excuse the back ground, I couldn't do it outside (peeing down) and my dad thought it would look good.

Any comments would be welcome (except about the decor- nowt to do with me.) I didn't realise my backpack had got all screwed like that at the time but that shouldn't be an issue once its full. As it was I just stuffed some bags of BBs and paint pots I had lying around in it. I also need to find a new belt (too tight  ) and a better tie for my Plash, (too loose) had to use a Zelt strap.

Looks good Lardarse!
Two questions: whose birthday was it and what are those dolphins up to? (they are questions, not comments so thought it would be OK)

Heh, Russian game must be on the cards next year 8)

Eagle-eye chommers

Looks great Rich - from what i can see, better than some re-enactors at Renishaw Hall - that tried to do WW2 Russian, but wore to much post-war wannabe kit :good:

Thanks. The gun is a WIP airsoft mosin. It currently has no barrel in it, hence why its mostly hidden.

Heres my Luftwaffe Field Division MG gunner impression. I still need a luftwaffe belt buckle, a luftwaffe wool tunic, and some jackboots, plus some other minor things. Let me know what you think. In the picture im wearing an SS belt buckle only because I dont have a luftwaffe buckle at the moment, plus I need to get some Luftwaffe blue paint to paint my helmet the right color.

Hi Tobin, looking good! You don't need jackboots - save yourself a load of money and get some Lufty blue gaiters instead. I think it would be much more common for FD to wear short boots - correct me if I'm wrong, anybody. And also a pair of M35 blue trousers, and you're there!

BTW, what make of MG42 is that? :)

Looking good there. It seems there are quite a few guys with FD impressions now. :good:

What time period are you going for with your impression? If its late war then a large amout of Heer equipment is perfectly correct as by early 44 the luftwafffe FD's were under the control of and supplied by the WH so unless you are going for the old-sweat look then feldgrau heer M43 trousers and green gaitors/breadbag are totally correct as would be Heer 43 tunics and even heer decaled helmet. Also with the FD jacket you dont really need wools underneath as they would not be visible anyway.

Agree with that - unless it's mid-winter, you will sweat to death running around with a Fliegerbluse and the jacket. A simple service shirt or undershirt would do the trick. :good:
