Today I spent the best part of 5 hours building this with my Grandad. It still needs a stencilled design of letters and numbers, a hinge and clasp for the lid, but other than that it's done!

As you can see there's actually more room for masks, bb's, chargers etc. I'm very proud of it!

(Thanks to rifleman6925 for the inspiration to make this)

Nice, we should start a thread for boxes and crates - my garage is full of them! (I like to be organised and efficient - just grab a box and off to battle. Well, I say grab, more like call son for assistance to get a box into the car. K98/MP44/MP40 or Sten/Thompson/Thompson plus mags/gas/ammo and box is blummin heavy :x )

Yes also been working on a weapons crate. much rougher as made out of old pallets. Still needs some finishing.

Whats the best place to get stencils, Ive found somewhere in the US that does Eagle stecils, anywhere in the UK?-- attachment is not available ---- attachment is not available --

Take a look at some original crates and you'll find that not everything made for the German military was covered in swastikas and eagles, so you don't really need stencils unless you want it to look like a prop from Indiana Jones

Or you could make 'em yourself, it's what I did! I sprayed the top line of text, then got too annoyed at cutting my stencil further, so I drew pencil outlines and painted them in with black paint. After that i sprayed black paint from far away so it looks like all has been spray stencilled, rather than painted. Pic:

Well thats true of course, but I do think that a crate this size should look like it may just have the Ark inside

Google - Noosta Stencils. They will have what you want and if they don't have exactly what you want then they will make a custom stencil with what you want on it.
