Happy birthday McVickers!

... Got around to sewing my no4 commando patches on. Stuck the needle in my ring finger. Again.

Why do you always carry that umbrella?
-Bad memory. Never could remember the password. Knew no Jerry would carry one. Had to prove I was an Englishman, you see.

Finally managed to get the bolt out of my K98 (thanks Yith!). Maybe next weekend I'll take the cylinder head off :)

Hammered a few replacement hobnails into my boots and started sorting kit out for Patton Stopped.

Cheers

spent half the day trying to shine s@$t.was asked to re-work a really poor k98 springer conversion, really nice genuine stock and some of the metalwork but just a horrific job done on it,im at a loss as what to do about some of it.

de=tuned my no4 to be a battle rifle rather than a sniper, the spring was shorter than the piston travel by the time i'd clipped it enough, had to put a little foam pad under the spring guide fork to stop it droping out  nice and easy to cock now, also spruced up the mags ready for battle :good:
