Refinished the stock on my mp44 and re-blued the metal parts on it. Just waiting on some more cold blue fluid so I can tackle the rest of it.

Today I picked up a very nice pre-war civilian hiking Rucksack for my Gebirgsjäger impression 
Started stripping the paint from my mp44 to re-blue it. Nitromors is definitely not as effective as it used to be. Need to find a better alternative before resorting to mek.
Just finished blueing the MP44 and all my magazines. Took a long while but really makes it look great. I'll get some photos up when I get something approaching normal daylight here, it's been foggy and dull all day.
Stripped the Dorito's colouring off the SMLE, to be replaced with some English Walnut stain.

Spent the evening cleaning up the barrels and hop units in an MP44, a PPSH, a STEN and two MP40s.
Spent the afternoon making a v2 geabox casing into a Quick Detach type.....successful! But now need to make a spring guide retainer.
Got home from work early, started at long last, to size up wood for making Thompson stock, fore grip, and pistol grip,.....trying to make the pistol grip is going to be fun!!
Finished the upgrades on a few aegs and hobnailing my low boots and jump boots. Kinda fun once you get the hang of it.
Got some genuine SMLE hardware (from the USA, where all guns come from?) to replace the naff Denis stuff
Bit of maintenance on some gas weapons. Might stick that 75° maple leaf hop rubber in my K98 but I'm on the fence with it.
Scoured about a tonne of cosmoline off of a "Spanish" 7.92mm ammo case to find this 
I've fired a bullet on every continent. Nearly hit someone, too.
Noticed the wear on my K98 was getting a bit severe sonic stripped the whole thing and blued all the metalwork.
...Painted my Mk1 helmet a more desert flavour. Don't think it's the right shade of sand though :/
Broke the stock on my M1a1, with 8 days to go to battle,......clumsy t@&£!
