Received my Halcyon mk8 service goggles through the post.
3mm polycarbonate lenses in them.
They are certified bs4110 but couldn't find what that tested exactly, so checked with the company. To their credit they stated they could not recommend them for anything other than motorcycling/sport.
Anyway....nice looking goggles but lenses cracked after approx 20 0.2 BBs at very close range around 290fps.
Some chance of small shards inside, so not really airsoft safe.

Revitalized my CYMA M1A1 with a new mag release and a real-steel Lyman simple-L rear sight (to make it into an M1 Thompson, vs. an M1A1). Pics here: http://imgur.com/a/jYT0S

Chased once again on my M38 helmet I bought in March and learnt that you should always send PayPal as goods and services unless you actually know and trust the person!

I did a bit of renovation on my ammo boots - mainly putting in new hobnails after putting wood rawl plugs into the holes first, also a bit of dubbin.

I also fixed the wiring on my Thompson so it works again.

Looks great, I've wanted to do repaint my M42 in a normandy 3 tone camo scheme.

What paints did you use and how have you weather them to look a bit more used?

I get the paint mixed up various companies to try n get as close to original paint as i can :good:

If your interested however, i could do it for you?

Helmet is sandblasted to remove old paint
Then painted in the correct Feldgrau colour
Decals (if wanted) are correctly applied using a resin adeshive which makes them less likely to chip and flake like standard decals
Helmet is then aged
Camo/texture is then applied and weathered

All i charge is £30 plus return postage :good:
