not sure why Andy - my contact/delivery details are my house in Blighty, maybe I've a house out there too
crikey! today i replaced the graphics card on my imac..... not a job for the faint of heart.... I also got the internals for my G** working and feeding and mounted in the body.....
Finished packing for Crich and the PBI display... also labelled and repackaged all the fresh meats to look more 40s and transfered the butter to a fat dish rather than a modern container!

Started my training for Bloody Gulch... 7km on a 1.5% gradient in 40mins. Happy with that

On a treadmill, obviously. ![]()
You'll need more than a 1.5% gradient for Ex-site!! ![]()

Yup on treadmill, but it is only my first day, over the next month I'll move the gradient up to about 5%. I reckon that should be sufficient...

Yes but are you doing it in your kit, wearing boots and carrying a weapon?
I can remember when I was fit, I could do 10 miles in 58 minutes! (A long time ago!).
BTW Spiers, totally O.T but I notice you awarded yourself a medal AND "bar" for Autumn mist in your sig'!
(You have ribbons for "Rhine" and "Mist")

When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!
Yes I realise that but I'd probably get some very odd looks if I turned up at the gym in my Corcorans & 42's. Like I said though, first day of training and I'm more doing it to get my body used to running up steep gradients and get my endurance up. Carrying the kit is reasonably easy, even at Husky I felt fine on the 2nd day.
Oops forgot about the double award! Will edit accordingly!

This weekend I finally got this bugger working again .
Y’know, strip it all down , powder coat , paint and polish everything , sort all it’s lil foibles out and then it fails to rev above 5000rpm. Git . For those familiar with the saga , I ended up calling 'handy Andy' , and now it runs sweet as a nut .
& the problem , wouldn’t run without the airbox, or with the K&N filters . Put it all back and the brick wall disappeared. First time I’ve come across that one in umpteen bikes but hey ho , Kawasaki knew best .
Bottom pic shows as I bought it / as it was six weeks ago .

checked the bank balance and my tax rebate has gone in
.( BTW guy, thats a nice machine, the same as a friend in belgium has , i have a go on it when i am at there place )
Today I will be mostly adminning kit post Crich...

That is a great rebuild Guy - made her a real looker.
On Sat' I made a British style cloth bandolier to hold 20rnd Thompson mags. It's an objet faux, like those Axis helmet covers which were never produced in that particular camo, etc... but I'll serve it's purpose while 'looking the part', which is the idea.

Nice bike Guy! Always good to see an old Kwak' in its' former glory.
Today, I put my Lee Enfield back together, with a new spring, piston and a No4T cheekpiece.
