Cool, just a warning because over stretching it and resplitting the glue is PAINFUL. Hope it heals soon, should be about 7-10 days with the glue on...

mitre mate. to the layman, a superior super glue with an aerosol of activator, sends it off instantly. great for cuts. ( not bad at holding mitres .....)

ah I have super glue and activator... I was considering adding a bit extra onto what the doctor did to ensure that the resplitting that Alex mentioned doesn't happen!

Hmmm... looking at it again, it's definitely healing up!

See, this is what happens when you let officers near pointy things.

Glad you're ok for the drive/game though!

This is yet another reason why I won't attempt any jiggery-pokery with guns.

The other one is that I have absolutely no practical skills whatsoever!

sprayed markings on the bash-hat and fitted a helmet net, then took some lovely pictures during Operation Back Garden :good:

There's an American Kit Pic thread knocking around somewhere in the US Subsection. Get some on there...

Good to hear another 101 boy joining up :good:

That's fair enough, I understand that but with all the 101 bashing that goes on around here...there a bit thin on the ground at the moment. It's all very well saying 82nd are better and people just do 101 because of BoB but people start feeling segregated after a while. I will say no more on the subject.

i never said 82nd are better, as you know, i started ww2 aisoft as 101st. after much research i found that the 101st only fought in 3 battles, ( market garden wasnt even woth mentioning to be honest,,,,,not taking anything away from them, but other units did much more) this seriously limits the use of the m42 jump suit.

with 82nd you get north africa ( just) sicily, itally, d-day, market garden, ardennes, germany.........

i dont knock the 101st, i have just been enlightened.

as for feeling segregated,,,, well, i know a load of 101 who refuse to even consider re- badgeing so parts have to be written into battle games just for them so they dont feel left out.

Your all just squabbling over sloppy seconds... Regular line infantry's where it's at. :good: :P

Anyway, today I... test fired my Dboys at a piece of A4 with a circle on it... Could I ask my opponents to walk up close to me please, and pin a piece of A4 to their chest's.

Too right mate. You don't see the airbrain divisions in the top league of casualties. Infantry units don't get to go back to rest for long periods between their fights.
