Spec ops, too many guys using Systemas - generally the marshalls/regulars , I refuse to believe they are shooting at 350fps as claimed ,not at the range and force we were getting hit,I heard 3 other guys complaining they were getting annhilated at ranges they couldn't engage at.I am of the opinion that these guys only go there and nowhere else because they don't get chrono'd there .

There's a lot of that about, with site operators/regulars using systemas at whatever fps they choose. I suppose it maintains their fragile self-esteem. Personally, I'd have chinned the bastard and left the site!

Anyhoo, today, I made a scope bracket for my Enfield.

I dunno, I had a systemma with a blue cylinder in it. I was doing 345fps and it was hitting people at 60m +

The hop units are very good in systemas usually built with very low tolerance barrels etc.

I ended up selling mine because it was "too easy" to play on open days, ended up annihilating anybody who I cam across at range, before they'd even had chance to shoot back, but my gun was no more powerful that theirs.

Today (well last night, but it's still bleeding!) I managed to saw diagonally through my thumb and thumbnail pretty much down to the bone.

I'm getting thoroughly fed up of being on medication that feels like i'm working through fog and making stupid mistakes. :x

Do you mean new home as in sold or as in a nice new box/gun rack/armoury?

Finished (nearly) my British gun crate. My previous ration box and supply crate turned out to be jolly useful things so I thought I'd turn my hand to something to store guns in the garage but also be useful for a set prop and as secure transportation. I'm half way through making German one for Jerry guns and when that's done there will be a US one!
Plenty of room in them for magazines, ammunition, batteries and pistols.
(Heh, I know I'll get some stick from those that are gobsmacked at my antics at games where I heave 300 neatly packed boxes out of the car but meh, at least I am organised. Or at least aspire to be!)
