Good to hear that it all went well Keith. Was she sitting there bricking it about what you'd say in the father of the bride speech?

Started to tidy up the junk room and garage. What a mistake.
I found stuff I never remember buying, I knew I had 3 or 4 german water bottles, I'm sure I dont need 10, yup, found 6 I had forgotten inc one tropical type and a pair of medics type with the cradle and sling.
Can anyone explain why I think I might need 30 spare pairs of german shoulder boards in assorted colours? These are on top of what I have on uniforms.
There was a nice tropical style breadbag, just missing one metal loop at the front but I found a couple of those too.
I can see some E-Bay action quite soon, water bottles still fetch good money.

I've been to see my grandad today (well Che has as well) and glad to say for 86 he's doing bloody well, I was a little apprehensive about seeing him as I felt he had deteriorated a bit over previous months, but he was less palid and looked in far better health than previously so phew.

Even managed to get Che's base unit working at the weekend all sorted just in time to not be at home at the weekend and need the net

Went to the American Embassy for a work Visa. Had at least one ever year for the last 11 years and some before that. Still have to go queue and sit and have an interview. Still, it was granted now I just have to wait for them to return my Passport by courier. Just as well I have another if I need to travel.

Sounds like you got it easy. I've heard some real horror stories about people touched by the dead hand of the US Embassy.
They really do need a rocket up them
