Yes, there will be bargains to be had. But it won't be a one-stop-shop for an impression.

I think I'm going to be in London for this date anyway so i might pop in. Oddly I used to live 10 minutes away from them and had no idea they were there.

We'd like to arrive for around 8 but bear in mind some folk have been camping out all night going by the last one, so being in their among the first is incredibly unlikely.

Is it at their Hendon address?

I got a reply from them today

"The sale is being held at our Wembley warehouse, its address is 3 Boundary Road, Wembley, HA9 7ND"

Looks about 10 minutes walk from the North Wembly station.

If Milo Mindbender hadn't pilfered our storage box, tones.

I'm still what my nan would call "steaming rope-a-bull" about that

I'll have to make do with an adrian helmet, a fortress/motor troopers helmet replica in fiberglass, A garand belt, and a very very nice a French M35 Capote (pin backed great coat, actually not that heavy).

Does mean for any more France 1940 games, the locals will get represented ;)

Short nasty version,

No bags permitted inside the venue (fair enough, but more honoured in the breach than the observance)

Boxes, supposedly secure to hold kit for you while you rummaged for more were provided, our group got 2

I put in 2 M43 jackets, 2 Garand Belts, a pair of French leather Rifle clip pouches, MP40 mag holders (1 leather, 1 canvas) a convicts uniform (dyeable for civilian look) and a piratical pair of breaches and a wasitcoat.

When the box came down to us at the checkout, all gone! Only the Helmets I had first picked up and a single Garand belt remained. Me gutted, no re-admittance from that point. Cue much cussin. I almost went back in but lift and others were tired and so I fear asking them to wait another hour's or so while I went back in and re-obtained the kit would not have been a wise request.

Milo Mindbender, to our team, he is to logistics what gremlins are to gadgets. Has been since we used to play Twilight 2000 (when it was new). When something goes wrong with kit or stuff isn't where it should be, he gets blamed (for the unfamiliar, read/watch Catch 22).

Good news is that I have been able to source some of the items elsewhere, French M47 jacket in place of the M43 (close enough and gets the elan) and French mle 45 ammo pouches on ebay (from France). Piratical gear and civies, were nice but not needed.
