I guess a good way to hide a real pistol is to put it in a box like that so it looks like a replica.

At least the report wasn't too damming on replicas and the like. I still think the government is in for one hell of a time when the day comes that a 5 year old is arrested for having a cap gun.

Edit : actually I saw more footage on the lunchtime news and they brought out a "shotgun" in a similar box. Maybe thats what the police put it in when bringing them out in a public place.

Ah, excellent, a conspiracy theory. Oddball, where are you when we need you!

See I know what buttons to press

You guys and Helg are getting more like me every day but I can't take credit for it, just living in modern Britain will do this to everyone eventually.

It's now 10 CD's helg and my debit card was hijacked last Friday, my bank contacted me about it. I still have the card but the info has been used no money lost though.

So for posterity I posted a video for people with short memories. 8)

There is so much shocking stuff said on TV at the moment I feel like recording it all for GOOGLE as Yanks just won't believe this.

Ooo that was tested on Mythbusters. While a car can run on Hyrdogen put directly into the carboreta the tank that the doc advocates can't produce hydrogen quick enough to be used. No where near quick enough it turns out.
The best bet was used cooking oil that had been filtered. You can use that on a diesel car with no mods :D

Too late buddy, just after the VCR bill came in, an 8 year old in Swindon was playing with a plastic gun outside his house and a PC collared him for having a replica, his father had to snap the gun in half before the PC would leave the scene.:(

Can't comment, as your teddy is putting forward a court case for being called the wrong name, this cannot be discussed  on the forum.

Totally agree, the fact it could have been upto a year in jail or 40 lashes for something so pathetic is completely incomprehensable to me. I was listening to classic fm  (maybes shouldn't confess that) and they had a chap on their news that had receieved 40 lashes last year, for something equally as trivial  he commented that it was the better of the two evils, the other going to jail for a year :? due to conditions in the jail. But the conditions of the lashes where your told to attend a room, the minute you arrive are told to lie on a filthy floor and then are painfully flogged from head to toe, is just barbaric.

 I'm gobsmacked. That is pure political lunacy. I fear the government has gone too far now. Time to join a political activist group methinks!

Nah do you believe some guys can disprove in a few hours what some guy spent 4 years making :P

Mythbusters have been well proven wrong all that is twaddle they want you to think so that you will keep paying the 400% oil tax and polluting the planet for no reason.

1 L of water is only 1kg so not a bad trade off.

The Water Power cover up is the biggest conspiracy on the planet and all the current wars are based around it if you look deep enough.

As for all these 1000 laws in 10 years I think Thomas Jefferson had things right.

Oddball, dont take this personally, but you're talking complete rubbish.

In my current role I work with propulsion systems - of all types. GT, IC, EC and Fuel Cells, not to mention some other fun stuff like Hydrogen Reformation, admittedly mostly in a military context, but the same principles apply to the civvie world.

Stan Meyers name is well known. As a joke. He used electrolysis to split water from H20 to Hydrogen and Oxygen, because as we all know, yes you can run an IC engine on Hydrogen as BMW have proved with their technology demonstrator.

Now, here's the fun bit. Where did Stan get the energy to allow him to separate H20 via electrolysis? Oh, thats where it all falls apart. Once the laws of physics are brought into it........
