ok, i have got my mates joiners shop for a few days next week or the week after. i am going to make a set of M1 garand, and a set of enfield woodwork out of soft wood just to see whats involed. i will keep you posted, but if anyone has any drawings or plans i can borrow let me know. if it goes ok in softwood, i will upgrade to hard wood. any pics or input would be nice .

that would be great imp, but M14 plastic would be ok, if you dont want to part with a valuable garand part.

This is a great idea Nige. Wouldn't say "no" to a Sten Mk5 stock (with a battery cutout) and pistol grip as well.

When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!

i think it can be done pete. my idea i to make softwood patterns first, so i can use them for hard wood parts later.
