Hi W-o-W! Astonishingly good English - I'm guessing you haven't been in Romania all your life?

CiA started because we wanted to play in a 'proper' WW2 game, yet no airsoft site ran WW2 games. The reason they didn't run WW2 games was because no one has WW2 kit. No one had WW2 kit because airsoft sites didn't run WW2 games!

So, to break the chicken or the egg cycle we launched our own game with sufficiently relaxed uniform rules to encourage airsofters to give it a try. What surprised us was the number of players who went out and bought the 'proper' kit - there really was an unfulfilled desire for WW2!

Your problem though is that you don't have the pool of 'ordinary' airsofters to dip into so I guess you have a lot of marketing to do - float the concept on your Romanian airsoft forums. But, you have to give someone a reason to buy kit!

I'm ashamed to say I don't know anything about Romania and it's part in WW2
* runs to Wikipedia *

If you are in the UK when a WW2 game is being played I'm sure we can rustle up some kit for you to play in, the UK crowd is very friendly and generous...

Heh, potted history: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romania_du ... rld_War_II

Politically interesting times for Romania during and post WW2 then, neutral then Axis, then Allied and the country carved up post war.

What is the public stance on German uniforms in reenactment/display now?

Hi W-o-W, you would be most welcome to take part in Operation Haggard, which is July 5-6th. :)

Texas, W-o-W, I always wear my WWII kit, even to open days - as you said Tex, it does generate interest.

The main reason people don't do WWII airsoft is because they don't realise other people do it!
