Heya folk.

If you have any of the following loadouts I'd be very interesting in photographing you and your kit for future articles. Preference given to the more stitch counter accurate kit but 'counts as' still required for other articles.

Luftwaffe Field Division
Fallschirmjager
Russian winter uniforms
German winter kit (padded reversible suits etc)
US line Infantry
US line infantry camo suit (the discontinued NWE one, not USMC ones)
Imperial Japanese Army
Partisan/Resistance
Afrika Korp
Russian scout/sniper in amoeba type camo suit
Early War German Infantry

Gadge do you want the padded uniform or greatcoat look for soviet infantry? I have the a shinel (2 actually) on the way so will have winter kit of a sort soon. I also have DAK & FJ and am putting together a soviet sniper loadout, although it will be with a leaf pattern suit not ameoba. Non of them are perfect but I'm working on it.

All of the above sound awesome mate.

We'd either need to do a shoot at a game or arrange to do one at a site near both of us.

I'll Pm or MSN you to sort some stuff out.

Gadge, I have Fallschirmjäger, Luftwaffe Feld Divison and Hermann Göring Division kit. Would need one or two bits to complete an early war Heer loadout.

You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier

Guys if you could PM me with any loadouts you can do then i can start building up an idea of what i can use for shoots.

I'm looking to do a new 'versus' series where i show the two opposing soldiers of a battle.

US infantry is good, although I know your USMC is completley bang on accurate i may have to delay USMC as Paul wants to do a wannabe article on USMC.

I am however very aware that we've yet to cover an American unit in my section, unfortunately though as most the US 'profile' units have been done in wannabe it makes it a bit daft to repeat stuff (airborne, rangers and USMC will al have been covered)

Its not any anti US bias on my part just unfortunate that after I'd arrnaged to have the experts portray USMC I was informed it was already scheduled.

I honestly cant recall what kit was used for the US airborne impression.

Basically i usually write about kit i have myself, thing is i have no interest whatsoever in US kit (its all green to me...) so any US articles i do do I'd like to do with the assistance of someone who's passionate about SPAM kit and with a few days in the library wiht my head in some books.

I do actually have quite a lot of books on US uniform but there is a big difference between reading a book and wearing and 'fighting' in kit when it comes to knowing whats what.

Essentially I want to do US kit (and lufty and soviet kit for that matter) justice with a well researched and informative article rather than a cobble together of stuff i've read in a few books or on the net.

I noticed there was a soviet kit thing in an AI mag a while back, i would love to buy a soviet kit for a stalingrad or kursk weekender as soviet kit is by far the cheapest and the most easy to do look alike.

I have my fingers crossed for another eastern front game. However we do need some more russian players so it would be great if you are interested in getting some kit. Like you say it can be pretty cheap and easy to do, as long as you don't mind buying from overseas. Good to hear Gadges articles are doing their job and raising interest in what is so far a pretty unexplored area of ww2 airsoft. :good:

Gadge, got your reply thanks. I've given a heads up to the guys so we should be OK to help out with correct RKKA uniforms.

We can do all variants of winter kit correctly and razvedchik/sniper/assault engineer in a variety of camouflage!
