As I've said elsewhere, Zib is a dick. Once he's got your money, he couldn't care less.

I've found the opposite.
I ordered a custom helmet. What turned up was a tan painted thing that had been sprayed with glue and dipped in mud. I sent the WTF e-mail and he got straight back. He sent a plain FGrey replacement and refunded postage and the difference.
They can be slow, some stuff is just the same as you can get from Epic or SoF, some is his own production. Far East made but his spec. None of it is stunning quality but acceptable.
The issue is payment.

We had some issues with at least 4 to 5 orders, in the past. Orders not complete, not the products ordered, things like that. But, since a week or 3-4, all orders placed (by different forums members) are all sent with the correct products and complete. It seems that they have improved their pre-shipment quality checks.

Last items bought at Zib were the WH Rucksack M31 model, a K98 bayonet and some other stuff: all looking OK and products were as advertised.

Regarding the uniforms: as far as I know most of their stuff is made by Sturm. And I would suggest to have a look at Spearhead regarding the uniforms and keep zib for the equipment.

My opinion is currently 'neutral'.

Oh, and check to which bank-account you have to wire the money: they switched for the third time to an other backaccount in say 1.5years.

Not at all.
Just adding my experience to the mix.
Members must form their own opinion from the info available.
You think he's a dick, I think he is useable, I had a problem but it was corrected and _Arthur has added his feelings.
With your logic if you say he must be a dick then he must be?
No one opinion carries anymore weight than any other, or shouldn't, only way to get a good idea of the facts is to review as many opinions as possible.
Just because you dont concur doesn't mean my opinion is wrong, just different.

Well I ordered one of their US Small Wall Tents. The photo was of a Pathfinder US Small Wall Tent. Anyway it turned up and it was actually one made by Sturm and was covered with nylon and very wrong. I improved it myself as they were on hols and then contacted them. They didn't re-imburse me for the entire tent, but gave me about £80 of store credit, which I used immediately.

I then named and shamed them on the pozzi forum and contacted pathfinder to let them know. Pathfinder contacted them about the photo. However when I last looked they still had the photo on the listing.

So mixed... They did respond and did make up in some way for their mistake. However, would I deal with them again... probably not.

Well, some of our forum members even drove up to Hamburg to get some goods. As with most of the online sellers: they have good stuff, but also some bad stuff.

And I think with most of the stuff: ask around first to check out which reseller is the 'best' for those items and/or if others are acceptable too.
