Hi all,
im just about to purchase some trouser braces for my heer kit,
General question, is there anything i need to know (places to avoid purchasing from etc.) or is it as straight forward as eating pancakes.
Thanks All
John
I got some from SOF a while back, wool is decent and they initially seemed pretty good but when I took them out in the field they split down the crotch and tore in the leg quite quickly, I'll probably look elsewhere next time
I've fired a bullet on every continent. Nearly hit someone, too.

Although good advice I do believe he is on about braces I use British Army No 2 uniform braces. Not WW2 I know but who gives a shit, nobody will see them
You can get some cheap off ebay probably.

0/10 for my reading skills there . Post war Czech ones are identical to wartime German ones, and that's what I use. They turn up on eBay and various vendors of army surplus tat online.

Hi, yeah I was on about braces but good point about the trousers, I was also planning on ordering a pair tomorrow from sof, where would the best place be to order from then!? For around £50 both sof & epic mil seem reasonable?
Like Tony, I also use British Army No. 2 braces. My local Army Surplus shop sells these for a fiver a pair.
I have four pairs distributed around various German and British trousers.
Cheers
