Ok as players come onto the private section can you let us know what weapon you are planning on using? partly so we can get the squads organized but also so we know as organisers what BB's to supply
Also if you have anything you think may help the game prop wise please let us know
well will be a rifle , or if needed can bring a lmg
I hope to be coming with a rifle but i am happy to operate a MG if we have one. I think MG will make a difference in the fight.
just an MP40 for me
I'll be carrying a rifle. I'm also happy to haul ammo tins, explosives or anything else that needs dragging from A to B.
I've fired a bullet on every continent. Nearly hit someone, too.

that may well be me (that needs dragging lol)
I will be using my K98 but happy to bring MG42
I think a MG per squad would be great. Due to ammo limits on other weapons, it will surely make a difference.
Yes an MG per squad would be good and with the low ammo limits should hopefully be a feared weapon. Chris if you can bring yours that would be great
Not sure if Stuts lads have an MG. I have sold my MG42, still have the MG34 but the build is a bit fragile for lending out. I may just stick it on the tripod and leave it static defending our artillery.
As organisers we are going to try and balance the number of MG's so that the Russians are not at a major disadvantage.
well either me or martin will bring one , as long as they work lol we not got yet lol
Ooh is that new? Fine to use just remember your Minimum engagement distance
We will organise MG teams etc when more are booked on
Kameraden, the new offensive is in full planning. Time to get our squad sorted. As mentioned before one MG is needed for fire support as it did its job at Avellino.
As Truppfuehrer is would consider my MP40 as it would have been what they used in this role. I can bring my K98 as well. Or shall we set up a dedicated MG group (3 men, team leader, gunner 1 and 2)?
Any thoughts?
I was planning on bringing my kar98 with my mp40 as a backup, I don't have any suitable props but I'm happy to assist in putting any together, I do however have a Russian uniform and PPSH if we fancy any subterfuge
EDIT: I'm happy to go with either k98 or mp40 depending on the mix of weapons or as our Truppenführer dictates

I think it's good to have a nominated group, but with only 9 men I don't think it can be fixed and needs to flexible

You are probably right. I guess there is going to be a fair bit of reconnaissance work to do. Light and silent travelling
We could keep MG at HQ and bring into action when needed.
A dedicated MG group makes sense to me, preferably armed with rifles, so as we can keep the bulk of our sub machine guns to the fore to spearhead any assaults.
I've fired a bullet on every continent. Nearly hit someone, too.
Just bear in mind that in this battle both the Heer & Gebirgs squad will need to be able to break down into sub squads that can act independently

I think if we have a MG group (with rifles as Matt said) nominated for main assaults (so they know what they are doing) and then keep it flexible for sub squad missions that should suffice.

I don't know if its of any use but I do have an original very large verbandkasten (from a firetruck) if that would be of any use for anything?
