Next job! A 20mm cannon which fires moscart rounds in automatic. :good: Why am I suggesting these things! I only play allies!

Pak38 looks fantastic! Looks like it's mobile too.

Shame we can't join you today but looming unemployment (for both of us) means we can't really justify the £200 cost.

i think alot of people are in that boat as well mate... dark times ahead!

but on a lighter note, not only was the PAk 38. nice and mobile, its very strong and durable as well. we (me, welsh and owen - the pak crew on the vid) treated it a bit less delicately than we could of, and she just kept on taking it, we must of gotten through about 30 rounds in 20 mins and she just kept purring, whoever made it deserves a firm patt on the back and a large amount of beer for the work they put into it.... gorgeous, putting one on my christmas list now, lets see santa try and fit that down the chimney!

cheers everyone

:-D

It certainly looks amazing - how did it work and what exactly did it fire?

one thing it does need though, either due to the heat generated, or our missus of it, but the breach needs strenghtening as at one point the metal warped and shot Owen in the knee with the end of the breach cap, at failr high speed... but he's a strong lad so he'll be ok, but anyway, a possible double rim might be an idea just incase! that or we just need to slow our fire rate down a bit to give the barrel time to cool off, heheh!

Being done as we speak, it was the amount of shells you guys put through it :good: . Its being re-enforced with a rim of steel on both sides, lol same thing happened at +2 when we put a 50gram charge through it! hence we only used 25gram.

does that mean we can use the bigger bangs next time??!! :D

cheers josh! oh and at this rate we can probably get the crew of 6 together for the next game as well, so if were lucky we may be able to beat our record of a round every 10 secs! YAY!!

till the next engagment! lol

welshy, what say you to learning a bit og hun for next time? like, loading, firing, target aquired, run away the british artillery is pointing at us, things like that?

plus it'd be fun, watching owen look at us in a confused... more confused manner as we converse in the tongue of the fatherland!?

lol....ooops...we may have popped thebreach on the pak by being silly on the friday test fire....note to self...dont use a 15g maroon. sounds like the reel thing but sent the breach 50m down the road lol. Will stick to the 50g powder charges from now on. the re-enforced breach socket held though, just need to re-weld and enforce the brech plug. Should have it set up to be towed too if the budget allows;)

Well that sounds like use of a toggle rope, figure of eight round the legs and dropped over the hitch of the jeep.... Now are we gonna have enough bangers for the engineers :)
