I think I've located a bergmutze, I'm told the peak measures 70mm from the buttons, is this about right? I have nothing to compare to, so if someone could measure theirs and post please, many thanks.

Without (properly) measuring mine, it sounds about the right length.

Will take a punt on this, and buy it. It's not expensive......could turn out to be total kack!

eyeballing the picture, the peak looks about 70mm.

as long as the peak is shorter than a normal M43 cap you should be OK.
