Pimms, wake up mate! I already replied to your earlier request on this same thread. We have a few options: given that I am about 3 hours's drive from the site, I am probably going to accept Sgt Heide's offer of a sleepover on Saturday night - thus travelling up on Saturday afternoon. Now, assuming he has room for yourself also - I'm quite happy to kip in my tent in his garden! - if you can get to either Pokesdown railway station or anywhere in Southampton, I can give you a lift. (I live just around the corner from Pokesdown station, or my route to the midlands takes me via Southampton.)

I don't mind putting you both up at my gaff. No need for sleeping in the tent! Got a futon and a folding camp bed (and a sofa!).

sounds good, I will try my hardest to get to southampton.

I'll let you know asap where and when I will be arriving, it's all dependant on the trains you see.

Don't worry about the booze mate, I always have tons anyway! I expect Mrs Heide will disappear quite rapidly once all of the talk of guns and airsoft gets going, leaving even MORE booze for us. She doesn't know that I'm nicking her car on the day yet either!

Anthony (Reich stuff) has contacted me and told me he can't make it and thanks to him for letting me know. Still haven't had a reply from several members, who have all been online lately and have definitely received the PM that I sent.

That's good news mate. I'll sort you out with directions to my place a bit nearer the day.

John M has also contacted me :good: and will let us know closer to the day whether he can make it or not.

No idea mate. Best bet is to get hold of a timetable (do they put them online?).

Quick edit - Lardassmonkey (Rich) has very kindly offered to come along as "enemy" for this, so he'll be togged up in Ruskie kit. He also has his German gear and I've told him that we can rotate the playing of enemy if he wants, so that he doesn't get shot to hell all day. We could do with a couple more to play enemy, so we don't just practice attacking 1 bloke (very impractical from an airsoft point of view). If anyone has any suggestions for who could fulfil that role, post them up and we'll get them invited. Ideally, they should be people who normally play axis, as we don't want to give anything away to the allies!

Che and Carl spring to mind. Would've said Gadge, but he's going to play Brit for Wacht Am Rhein.

I don't mind playing OPFOR given that I rarely get to 'play' anyway. And yes, I'll be 'enemy' at Unternehmen Herbstnebel but meh, my job is to know what everyone is up to (and I've done Brit and Yank training too!)
