both my mp40s chronoed at 270 fps at project wotan , but i think that was with .25 bb`s

ill have to buy a chrono , there about 80 quid i think

im planning on running one on a 9.6 battery as my china batterys are 18 months old now and are slow as a shit slideing down a playground slide (dont ask how i know)

I got a 9.6v batt & it was just a bit to big to fit inside, the firefox 8.4v 1500mAh ones for ehobby asia are quite good,

How about if we chip in together for a chrono? That way, we can have it at all games and training days, at very little cost. We can stop the allies crying about our K98's and scare them by offering to chrono their thompsons for them!

I not! CiA have two chronos (well, Guy and Jay have one each) and so have no need for any others.

I meant as "for our own use", just to check things on training days more than anything, rather than to bring to CiA games. I think it's commendable that anyone who upgrades his gun, or buys a new one, wants to ensure that it falls within the accepted limits, not just take it out of the box and use it, without regard for what kind of fps it might be running.

Also, at games, people just don't get the chance to experiment with, say, different types of gas. At a training day, there's not such high time constraints, so someone can take half an hour out to have a tinker.

Ok mate, thanks for letting me know at least.

Edit - My pc's motherboard has just dropped dead on me :slap: , so I have limited access from the wifes' pc for the next few days until I get mine fixed. So don't panic if I don't reply to posts or pm's for a bit. :good:

I guess it is commendable, but also very sensible and arguably what everyone should expect to do/be done, because if you didn't you could end up breaking the law by shooting someone with what to all intents and purposes would now be regarded as an air weapon - :good:

Well, heres' hoping that the weather improves for next week! It's pissed it down all day here. Not that it's a problem, as the safezone has a nice dry area to get changed in.

However, I'll remind people to bring zeltbahns (waterproofed of course!), poncho's, IPK's, etc, just in case it really hammers it down.

Hopefully, after this week, the sky will have no more rain left in it!

Would someone be able to lend me a suitable tunic and some headgear (hat or helmet-don't mind)for this? I have both on order but I doubt they will get here in time. Well I know the tunic won't as its from Pirschen. The hat is the more important as I should have a smock by then so I could get away with wearing one of my other tunics underneath. Im a 42 chest and 58 head btw.

I've got quite a bit of spare headgear, all a bit bigger than 58 mind, mine are 59/60 but you're welcome to use one of my spare caps (or even my helmet). I've also got either an M36 tunic (badged as a Heer Major), or a pea dot tunic you can borrow.

BTW - I've edited the first post again, just for clarity. Everyone please read it and make sure that you're up to speed with it all.

Cheers Pete. I don't mind if a hats too big, its being to small thats more of a problem. Tunic wise I think if my smock turns up in time I will actually wear one of my own tunics , if not could I borrow the pea dot one of yours? I will let you what I'm doing by Friday either way.

I hope so mate. I had a physio session today as well and it was bloody painful! I got twisted up something rotten and also had a bit of acupuncture. It's worked well though, I feel a lot better.

I too have been laid low with back problems in the past - so I take it easy now. Whilst my job involves sitting down all day, I just take a break every so often and go for a 5-minute walk - it helps.
