Story:
19th September 1944. The Allies have chased the retreating Shattered German Army through France and Belgium reaching the Hurtgenwald on the Belgian & German border. It is to be the most devastating battle on the ground for the Americans, and the longest battle the U.S. has ever fought.
The U.S. commander’s initial goal was to pin down German forces in the area to keep them from reinforcing the front lines farther north in the Battle of Aachen, where the US forces were fighting against the Siegfried Line, fortified industrial towns and villages speckled with pillboxes, tank traps, and minefields. A secondary objective may have been to outflank the front line.
Generalfeldmarschall Walter Model, with Heersgruppe B intended to bring the Allied thrust to a standstill. For the Germans this will be the vast staging area for the Battle of the Bulge.
Objectives:
- PATROL – US 1st Infantry Division send out reconnaissance patrols into the local area in order to establish where German lines are located. Then Proceed with Fighting patrols to clear Local AO of any German Resistance.
- HOLD – Deutsches Infanterie-Division must hold the defensive lines and counter attack if needed. The Americans must not get through! The Staging Area must remain protected!

Bookings & Cost
Bookings:
All German impressions will be acceptable along with all American Impressions.
Ages 13-16 must be accompanied by a participating adult.

- Full Weekend Event, 30-60 spaces - £90. £30 deposit to secure place, full payment upon signing in at event.
- Saturday or Sunday - £45 per day. £30 deposit to secure place, full payment upon signing in at event.

Rental Kits:
Rental kits will be available for this event in the following options:
- German Heer – Tunic, trousers, gaiters, webbing, helmet and gun.
- American Gi – Jacket, trousers, gaiters, webbing helmet and gun.
Please note that tropical kits are not available for hire. Prices will be fixed £25 per kit.*
