I know we discussed it elsewhere, but what are we doing about logging German players on the forum? Shall we name them? It'll be a harder for people to suspend their disbelief if they know who is an escapee.
Also, how many Germans do you think we need? I reckon we can run this with 6 Germans. More would be better.
That's assuming we get any fecking bookings...

It won't be for the players to determine who is or isn't a PoW - they have to bring them in and I'll investigate them. If their story or false paperwork is good enough they may even get a second chance. Might also be useful if things go awry and they are all captured in the first two hours! If he is convincing enough a PoW may even be able to blag an escape from the arresting soldier without even being taken to HQ, although there will be some bollocking at HQ if I find out!
So it doesn't matter who knows a German by sight and in any case, they actually may have been captured and switched sides to British. This is why paperwork and cover stories are going to be important - everyone needs to be checked and authorised from time to time.
They will have a private area to discuss tactics & escape plans.
I don't think it is a good idea to 'hide' participants. To the rest of the forum it looks like no one is booking and we all know that people are encouraged by a filling booking list.
I don't think there needs to be any limit on players of either side, the more the better really.

One vital bit of subterfuge will be Pete's role. As the landowner he will be purporting to be doing everything he can to aid the search. A good blag of a captured PoW would be to claim he is a Polish (or something) farmworker and Pete can conform he is one of his workers. As a trusted & respected local I wouldn't question his word - if this is done in earshot of a Brit or two then they might suspect something is wrong but if suspicions are brought up with me I'll brush it off as nonsense.

I can also turn away any nosey parkers who get too close to where the POW's are laid up.

When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!
Groovy. All sounds good.
