Due to ongoing logistical problems, Battalion has been unable to provide our requested Universal Carriers. Company will therefore deploy an under-strength mortar platoon for the assault on Arrow Route. Mortar tubes and shells will be transported by hand.
Those requesting transfer to the mortar platoon should submit their applications in triplicate to Coy. HQ. Training on the MKII Stokes 3" mortar will be supplied.

Pte. Massey and Pte. Saunders are now transferred to the mortar section.
