As per the real Kasserine conflict, each side will experience attacking and being attacked during this event. Squads will be given objectives which may be combat, recce, mine-clearing or laying, laying phone wires, preparing defences, etc.
Ammo limits:
Bolt action rifle - unlimited (this is the only weapon we will allow speed loader reloading in game if you have limited magazines).
SMGs 200 rounds. SMGs must be used on full auto, as designed,Not single shot.
Support weapon MGs (Including BAR and Bren): Must be Deployed and manned by 2 crew. If they are manned by crew they have unlimited ammo but may only have 500 rds in the magazine. If the gunner or the loader is killed the MG may continue to fire until the magazine is empty. **Keep a look out there will be a tutorial on making cardboard Ammo boxes which contain 500rds shortly**
Garands- 200rd single shot No loading in the field only at CP.
Medic / hit rules:
We will be using standard hit / bandage rules, so please bring your own bandage. At times during the event you may be permitted to have an additional bandage.
Regen points:
Both sides will be equipped with set of 2 telephones, a roll of cable, an ammo box and a first aid box. All regen points MUST have field phone communication set up and working in order to be active. In order for a station to be moved forward, the telephone from the rear station must be moved past the forward station and first aid & ammo box needs to be moved with it. If only the ammo box has been moved forward, people can only reload. If only first aid box has been moved, you can only regen. A station under fire can still be used for reloading but not for regen. Regen Points Cannot be destroyed just by keeping it under fire will negate the Regen.
Pyro
Please do not run from grenades and try not to fixate on your front, if something goes bang behind you its probably a grenade or shell, take a quick look and take the kill.
Smoke grenades are just that unless fired for Mortar or Artillery piece.
Grenades 5 metre kill radius – only hard cover (building/trench etc) counts as cover.
Mortar/Artillery round 5 metre kill radius - only hard cover (building/trench etc) counts as cover.
Mines and booby traps 5 metre kill radius.
Please Please DO NOT Run from Grenades or Pyro. They cost money and there is nothing worse than seeing people run away from your grenade saying they are outside the Kill Zone.
You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier
what about non bolt action rifles ie / m1 garand and carbines , not that i live long enough to worry about it lol

We thought about that but we believe that the Garands etc have small enough mags to go single shot 200 rd limit. We just don`t want home made semi auto rifles with 200 rd mags firing single shot. Your guys are all fine. 200rd single shot .
Any questions ask away.
cheers
Hi Andy, can I use my mortar?
Hi Andy, can I use my mortar?
Of course you can.
I don`t know if you have been to the site before but it is probably one of the best sites in the UK for Mortars. No trees in the way

I'm sorry to give you bad news but whilst I was flipping though the forum I noticed a mistake you have got your birth year where you should have you post count (you know the number that shows everyone how many times you have posted something on the forum)
hope it all gets put right for you soon.
Cheers
Peter

Yes and I will put you down on the Brit side for MG Gunner you just need to get a No2 so you can use it deployed with unlimited ammo. Take the time to look at the MG rules
Thanks! I'll see if someone will join me.

I have plaid at the sandpit before on a normal sunday & I know there is one colour smoke you can't use becous of how close the site is to the Thames but I can't remember which one it is.
Can you find out & let us know as soon as so I don't purchase a colour that I can't use.
Cheers
Peter
I believe it's red / orange as its close to distress flares but I'll pm UCAP and check. I think you'll be safest with white but will confirm.
I've had a reply from Andy and it is confirmed that no red or orange smoke is allowed at the pit.
Thanks for bringing it up Jerry A Trick. I was just looking to get a box of grenades and was eyeing up orange smoke. Saved me accidently calling out the coastguard.
Regards,
Ralph
White smoke is always going to be more realistic, I can't think of any war films where purple haze has drifted across the battlefield
