As usual, Brits don't need any insignia - that's perfectly authentic. However, I know there will be some who like to have insignia, so feel free to chat about it here.

For Germans, no cuff title required (unless you want to - either Afrika or Afrika Korps is correct). DAK Litzen is generic. For shoulderboards, I think I'm correct in saying light green (Panzergrenadier) was much more common than white (Infanterie) - but either would be ok. Wool s/boards are also fine and very commonly seen.

For US... no idea! Any 34th guys feel free to share. :good:

From what I've read, the 2nd Hampshire's would have been in the 46th infantry division at Kasserine, am I correct in thinking that they would have worn slip on 46th ID formation flashes?

Yup, printed divs on KD slips - though I'm having trouble finding anyone doing printed 46th Div patches, only seem to be able to find one chap on eBay selling repro' embroidered ones. Interesting to see that the picture of an original, below, shows the slip being made of Aertex material rather than KD drill.

I also found the embroidered ones your referring to, I might just make do with a set of those if it comes to it.

Just had a look on Wikipedia, and apparently the 2nd Hampshire's didn't join the 46th until the 10th of March 1943, 3 days before Tunis fell and the Tunisian campaign ended. Before that they were in the 78th Div, so maybe printed 78th patches can be had.

FYI, insignia is optional. Unbadged is quite correct.

I'll be badged with 78th Division and RE AOS strips (no regimental shoulder titles) on my battledress jacket and RE shoulder slips on my KD shirt.

Hurrah for badges.

Cheers

If the Brits are getting some 78th Division insignia I'll jump on the bandwagon.

well our 34th lot will be badged up and of course same for helmets , but thats because we always are lol

if any one wanted to be wearing a 34th helmet i have on my to do list to paint up a few more of my spares - as my normal ones are taken by me and gareth , but i have a medic one , a mp one done and 2- 3 more normal ones to finish. that i dont mind sorting

also i still have a few spare 34th patches, if some 1 really feels the desire to badged up , but as photos i have seen it was a mixture of badged and unbadged (can either post out or quick sew in the morning lol)

Well my US infantry loadout has already been badged up as 34th so i'm up & ready to roll.
I could change the jacket as I don't like changing badges so I have a choice of jackets instead.
