i'll kill a man in a fair fight or if i think he's going to start a fair fight or over a woman or.......
a problem shared is a problem halved ,but an advantage shared is no advantage at all
if a job's not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well
If the yanks want a support weapon I have a .30 cal that I can bring with a tripod. It does weigh a lot though, you'd need at least two to move it with the tripod. Works well and is capable of putting down suppressive fire all day long. Let me know and I'll bring it if we have a willing volunteer.
Ploppy and I will volunteer for MG crew
Rich

I've got a 42, although im not sure how much use it had in Africa. I'm happy to let someone else be MG gunner if needs be.

I believe that the MG42's debut was the Tunisian campaign, though don't quote me on that
I've got all the linesman kit already so can take up the role of Sigs' for the Brits, if no-one else fancies it?
Period field 'phones can be supplied if required?
