Game location and date:
Lincolnshire Airsoft Club – Kirton Lindsey site:
Date: Sunday 13th June 2010

Now what better for a game based in the desert, than playing in a massive quarry in the middle of June!

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&sourc ... 16&iwloc=A

Game day format: All Day game
Game format: 30minute - 60minute combat mission style games, the result of which directly effects the next one.

Camping available on Saturday night, communal camp on safe zone car park, male and female toilets on site.

For a North Africa event in the UK I doubt you'll find a better site.

I am just back from a trip with work to Tunisia (Soliman and Sousse). That looks like a very good match indeed for the country. For those of you thinking it looks to green compared to the scenes in the Big Red One. That was filmed in Israel and looked too desert like for most of Tunisia

Its more impressive when you see it for yourself, than what it looks like in the pics.

500mm wide?! Blimey, that's going to be a short game!

OK, assuming you meant metres, ;) that's 500000 sq m which equates to 123 acres. Cooo, not too shabby!

I was very pleasently suprised when we came out of the clearing into the quarry area, you're eye is drawn to the horizon, full of bumps and mounds, gulleys, valleys, bodies of water... and the best heat shimmer you've ever seen!

Have a ball park figure on how much it's going to be yet?
