The Doughboys will be asking participants to wear the following uniforms. Although we obviously would prefer all players to wear and use exactly the right uniforms we understand that this is not possible for all players. Hence we have written up some guides to “near-perfect†and “close-to†uniform options, which should give players less expensive options. “Close-to†kit should be confirmed with your respective side commander or organiser prior to purchase and/or booking onto the game.

Thinking about coming to this one...before I get any arguments saying 'you can't come as Airborne,' I'm not doing. I was just looking at the kit guide, I'm ok for all of it except the boots. Will my Corcorans with the trousers hiding the tops do (as in not bloused over them)...or not?
Also just so there's no argument...no I wouldn't be wearing a helmet with Spade, no I wouldn't be wearing my 42's, trousers or jacket, I wouldn't be carrying a musette bag and have no intention of arguing that the 10st were anywhere near Africa by this point in the war...in fact they didn't exist. Rant over.

A set of leggings (gaitors) over the top of your corcorans wouldnt be far off Alex, they're not too pricey too.
Heh, yeah, corcorans with leggings over (my last original pair cost just £5) would look rather like service boots. So fine.
Yup no probs, thanks for the quick reply, just didn't want to have to start buying another set of boots. Gaitors it is! Thanks dudes!

Be sure to call them leggings, otherwise stamper will die a little inside

You know, it has worked now though hasn't it? We all call them leggings, correctly...
Yeah, Stamper got all the Kudos from the Doughboys training day when he showed us his alternative rifle drill moves....and all that without clocking himself across the chops with the butt of the garand!

And pirouette, shimmy, shimmy bayonets in the ground and JAZZ HANDS!!!

A spot on for DAK would be any British clothing in KD as they used as much of it as they could possibly get-stuck to their own helmets, caps and webbing of course
Got everything sorted except the Doughboy pack and T Handle shovel...ok to use my straight handle shovel and got packless but with a satchel?
