We have a stock of new low boots at a budget price. Roughed out front and leather upper, hobnails and front plate. Very well made, only downside is they are a little wide when compared to originals.
Hmm, tempted for a punt on these. I've wanted a pair of rough/smooth out for ages! They don't look particularly shark-nosed and there is no steel shank (well, for 50 notes I'd expect that) and the smooth leather is a curious colour but since I want a browny/black used look with the steel-wool-in-vinegar and lashings of ledderfet trick that may not matter, although if it's a painted/surface finished colour I might have to strip it first.
Go on then, I'll order a pair of UK size 9's and do a photo essay of how I get on with them!
I saw a set of these with my own eyes this afternoon.
your comments on shark-nose are confirmed, but for Airsoft - a bargin compared to having to buy re-enactment versions, for the same look and silly prices.
At least we know they'll be 'roughed up' in the CiA field !!
