Hi guys,
New to the forum, I have a real keen interest in ww2 from a child. Love airsoft, mainly sniping style so looking to build a ww2 style sniper loadout.
Mainly looking at a Brit kitlist as they used hessian etc, but with this I would like to drop my current laser vsr into a lee Enfield.
Failing that a "captured" k98k vsr conversion (don't want to dress nazi) and poss a Russian rain coat etc
But can't find them anywhere! Starting to look for a dboys k98 to convert..
Love this forum, so much better than the modern ones,
I'm an Essex guy, and fairly new to the forum, so welcome.
If your quite handy with the weapons yourself, try making one to " lookalike" standard, dboys in my experience aren't that good, they look ok, but not skirmish weapons. Start with a good springer if you want a rifle type.
Saying that, I've been looking for a springer to convert, ........haven't found one yet!
Hello fellow Essex person! Welcome to the forums.

Ralph

Hello and welcome! I'd recommend that you look at a 'standard' British infantry loadout first, and then add more exotic kit once you've got the basics together.
Very few games have sniper roles; most guys who carry rifles (myself included) carry rifles that are firing at 350fps or lower and use them as 'battle rifles' rather than as a sniper.
You'll find WW2 games are a lot less shooty than a normal open day, and it's a hell of a lot more satisfying to get a close range kill with a boltie!

Welcome. Hope to see you soon at a game!
Hello and welcome,
as noted above, generic infantry is a good place to start and you won't find many roles for a sniper so probably a good idea to keep lower powered spring handy. All my bolties run at sub 350.
Anyway, hope to see you at a game at some point.
Cheers
