A shame you have such a Bad deal on the laws over there but you got it better than OZ, it took a lot of hard work to hold onto what we have here. I think it was just a matter of how things worked out on the timing bringing in laws, as we lost most fire arms over 10 year ago the airsoft scene grew since that point so when they wanted to ban airsoft as well it was a step to far for many people.
However if you ask the average person in the street here what airsoft is they still give you a strange look as they have never heard of it, due to a lack of good press about anything to do with the subject.
Free speech is expensive these days!

Good to have you on board. I have to echo what's already been said. Outside of people 'in the know', ie those who actually play airsoft or have heard of it because they are paintballers, I haven't come across a single person I've mentioned it to who has actually known what I'm talking about
