Hi all,

I’m a veteran Larp’er but I’m kind’a new to the WWII airsoft scene so I was wondering if anyone out there can point me in the right direction. I’ve always been into WWII history in a big way so imagine my excitement when I stumbled across this site. My main interest leans more towards the German field of operations, basically because I already have most the Waffen gear, so if anyone can give me details of any groups that lean more to the German side of things it would be much appreciated.

Hi welcome to CIA, WW2 airsoft seems to be more individuals with an interest in the period rather than organized units. There is an SS unit up north I believe, have a look at this thread for axis discussion http://www.ww2airsoft.org.uk/php/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=7 :)

Hi Keith

There are no organised groups as such with membership and leaders 8) more loose groupings based on impressions acquired. On the axis side there are some who do 9th SS, somewho do LSSAH , some FJ and some 27th Pzrs , but don't neccesarily play together or even know each other  We also have other members who portray no particular unit at all .

Have a troll around the forum and see what you think , best way forward is to attend a game

:D Even better, I wasn’t sure if there was order to the units or if it was more of a casual easy going approach. Goes without saying that I will be coming along to a event, unfortunately I cant make the one in November but I will be waiting with baited breath for the next. Looking on the bright side it gives me a little time to improve some areas of my garb.
