Neil Robertson, re-enactor, 2IC of 1G/IIKomp. AA 'Das Reich'
Das Reich are a long established group with members spread all over Britain and Germany.
Our group are the founders of W.A.R.S (World war II Axis R-enactment Society) now encompassing many Axis re-enactment Groups.
I have joined the forum primarily to explain the St. Petersberg (Leningrad) public battle and show, which I am helping to organise.
That being said, I and many re-enactors have been looking closely at the airsoft scene and are interested in how it has grown more toward re-enactment. I feel there is much to learn from each other.
Re-enactment private battles turn me off, public ones I tolerate as the public want them.
In a previous life, I owned, trained captained one of the most successful Northern Paintball teams in the early 90's.
So I know all about adrenaline, angry bees whipping past your ears and the fun and pain of being hit.
I hope to make it to the Matlock Dienst this year for my first taste of airsofting.
I know Dink (Helga) from the re-enactment scene, nice girl but a bit of a light weight when it comes to booze ![]()
