Hello :D

I'm Didz from Surrey. :happyclap:

I've been airsoft for about 5-6 years and have set up my own team.

But I have got really P***ED off with the usual airsofters who just want to shoot and not do the mission...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

I did the Distant 'Plunder' in 06 and some other big games and it doesn't work coz all they want to do is dig in and hold the trigger down!

Ok rant over :D :good:

So onto WWII airsoft..... I am fasanated with WWII and all the equipment and designs.

I don't have any WWII kit yet, but will be selling my current kit and some car stuff, so will be building up my kit slowly.
Soooo there might be a few questions from me :happydance:

Feel free to ask any questions, I'm a very open and aproachable and Dyslexic!

Oh and I'm 25.

Didz

QFT!, in fact sometimes its even more satisfying to complete the mission without firing a single shot :D

When we were an Empire it was run by an Empress
Now we're a country we're run by a..........

It's ALWAYS more satisfying! (Unless the mission is to shoot someone!).

Welcome to the forum Didz. :good:

Thanks all. :D

It's not just compleating the mission.... it's the non arguments of hit taking that I will be looking for.

Some players are a bit :ghey:

Hello and welcome. Have a look around and see what side takes your fancy. There's plenty of good friendly advice here on what to buy and what not to buy - just ask. :)

HA Ha, I was at Distant 'Plunder' in 06 as well, the rain was really bad on day one to the point that people were complaining about their brand new gortex was not working , I found that it was good but I was on the Nato team in a recce team of two, kept setting ambushes for the guys in Deserts.

Welcome to the forum mate, once you go WW2 you find it's hard to go back :good:

"Will you stop talking about the war!!"
"What, you started it!"
"We did NOT start it!"
"Yes you did, you invaded Poland..."

I was NATO as well, we where the guys who where walking in the woods all morning looking for the two pilots who didn't go out coz it was too dangerous for them....... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!

I had to change sides on the Sunday as NATO disapeared.
Went with some deserts and captured the NATO leader with trickery and some beautiful acting on my part :D

I can't wait to get my kit sorted and gun.... just need to decide what side and section to go for :slap:

Wotcha, and welcome to the boards.

I know there is a small clump of us around the Kingston/Epsom area, though most like me are irregular players rather than regulars.

I'm also another dyslexic (kind-of sorta, the 2 lobes of my brain are arguing with each other over who's in charge, so no leading eye, reading is a conscious effort, left and right are alien concepts, can't type, spellings even worse  )

To the tune of "Mademoiselle from Armentières"

Napoleons army ran away, As you do
The guard stood firm for Frances Pride, As you do
They said the guard will stand and die
But we heard what their Colonel cried
It wasn't pretty I tell you.

Resistance is fertile
