Hello to all of you ww2 A.S fans, it is good to see that ww2 is growing in many northern atlantic countrys and in US.
In Norway vi had our first 2 games last year and in this year vi have arranged 4 games.Vi are about 30 people with correct gear and uniforms and there are many more starting to collecting ww2 gear.
Vi have connections with the Swedish and with the Dannish ww2 players.Last year and this year vi had guest from Sweden on our games.
Maybee we can join together for a big ww2 A.S arrangement somtimes in the future in one of our countries.
Forgive me for my bad gramatick.
Welcome to I think the first Norwegian player It would (and am sure everyone else will agree) be great to see some pictures of your games and players over there in Norway
Don't worry about the grammar or English, your post was perfectly readable so don't let it hold you back from posting, it is always very impressive when someone puts such effort in to post in another persons language
Its a bit quiet on the forum this weekend as the majority are off having fun at a D-Day event, but they will be back tomorrow with tales from the Welsh front
yes, i have a great picture collection from every games in Norway and many of them are pretty good to, becase vi have a fantastic fotograph hwo unfortently have joind the axis on games and not are taking so many pictures as before
But anyhow i have some pictures i will share with you, but i need a promission from the fotographer and i need to know where i can post them.
Ah yes, photographer either side works best I think, you can then see pictures from the perspective of the other players, sounds like you need a new allied photographer.
Hopefully your photographer will agree to show us his pictures, as it would be very nice to see the pictures
If you are given permission I would suggest that you make a new post in the General Airsoft discussions section http://www.ww2airsoft.org.uk/php/phpBB2 ... um.php?f=1
I'll ask some curious questions seeing as I'm most interested to hear about WWII airsofting in Norway
How many players do you have on your Allied and Axis side ? and what roles/uniforms do your players choose to wear ? Also do you have any restrictions on what can be worn ?
hopefully this last response is not offensive
takk, takk skal du ha
I think the pictures just goes fine i just have to have prommisions from the fotograps and he is asleep now so i do it tomorrow
We are about 50/50 in allies and axis.On the allied side here are 50/50 on US airborne and Rangers and 2 is doeing plain US infanteri.
On the axsis side the majoryty is playing WSS Das Reich and 2 gyes playing HEER.One player plays Britan para.
We have desided that we dont want Norweagan volunters like Wiking, Norge and some like cause it is a heat theme in Norway to this day.
Therfore we desided that if we are gona play like WSS we have to do ather regiments than the WSS Norweigans.

Hi rick, welcome to the forum. It's always good news when we hear about other ww2'ers out there. Do you guys have a website? (we're always interested in how others go about ww2 airsoft!)

Looks like they get more sun as well as snow, great to see the pics, certainly play in some beautiful scenery
Great pics Rick - looks like you've put a lot of effort into getting the uniforms etc. right, and yeah, fantastic scenery -
Hey Rick!
Nice pictures
Actually I'm from Finland and i agree with you that WW2 airsofting/re-enacting is growing up in Northern Atlantic

Yeah it's nice but it got own problem too; Gas operated guns (Garands, Kar98Ks etc.) doesn't work. And sometimes it's bit cold,
but it's better to play in winter with German wooltunics than in summer, with +25 degrees
But snow also allows players to use white snowsuits, Mantels etc.
Lovely pics, it would be nice to arrange a visit in the winter for us brits, I wonder how many would be up for it, and if it were possible to get the guns in and out of the country?
