Hello and welcome
if you want to join in then book onto a game ,looks like you already have uniform so all you would need is a gun ,most games have people willing to lend guns on the rule that if you break it you pay to fix it.there are always people with the answer to any question's so just ask.

Hello and welcome. Take a look at the events section. All events are organised by different teams, so have different rules. Many people are prepared to lend kit and guns for free.

its best to keep uniform as basic heer unbadged as then only small adjustments can make it more suited to a particular game.
as for buying a gun its easiest to join a local airsoft club, you must go at least three times over 2 months to get a membership of UKARA (uk airsoft retailers association ) then you can buy a realistic (not painted bright colour) gun, it will also help you get used to shooting the gun's so you are ready for a good day at a ww2 event.
there are some teams but many just go alone, you wont go home without new friends .

Hello and welcome,

just to echo the comments above, best to keep uniforms plain and simple to start with as it increases flexibility. We don't really have unit teams as such (unlike re-enactment groups), just sign on to events and turn up although different organisers have different rules for required uniforms etc.

The easiest way to get started is just to sign up to one of the forthcoming events, Gunmans game on the 23/24th March might be a good start. Big game, guns and uniforms to rent/borrow.

Even once you can buy a gun, you need to be careful they meet the site/organiser safety requirements iirc an out of the box MP44 is way too hot and would need downgrading.

Cheers
Martin

Willkommen

If i was you go for a MP40 first (They are in stock at Action Hobbies) The mp44 (I have one) is a great gun but as stated they first need to be down graded most are 400 out of the box and depending on organisers they are a bit few and far between for the games being allowed 44 onwards

Have a think about the Crete game it will be game of the year and we are looking for Heer troops. There is a kit lending thread so most stuff is available. :good:

I am also in Bristol. I have been mainly playing at Bristol airsoft which is in the center of town and is quite cheap on Tues, wed and thurs evenings. Now that I have a Sten gun I plan to try and get to some outdoor sites as Bristol Airsoft is in an old courthouse so is limited to semi auto only. I will hopefully be trying Spartan Airsoft out next weekend.
